"On arrival found the unit disconnected from power, unit fully drained, no standing water. Power restored for testing at which point the units drain pump motor had been automatically energized. Drain pump motor function canceled at the user interface. No fault error codes recorded in unit history. Initial inspection has found no physical damage. Units pressure hose and air dome clear of obstruction and securely installed. Unit ran through complete calibration cycle and auto test without fault and/or water leaks until completion of auto test wherein the lid latch had failed to fully release generating an F5-E3 fault code (Lid Unlock Failure). Units lid latch assembly engaged and disengaged multiple times through diagnostic manual load testing without fault. Customer has opted to advance with installation of a new lid latch assembly in attempt to prevent future operational issues due to intermittent component failure. New lid latch supplied by pre-ID installed. Unit again ran through calibration cycle, diagnostic auto test and manual load testing as well as Rinse, Drain & Spin cycle through to agitation without fault and/or water leaks. All unit operations check good upon completion of service. Customer instructed to continue normal use of the unit, monitor and and advise should further service be required.

Found drain clogged. Cleaned drain and all checks OK.

Found transmission creating a loud roaring noise. Unit would need transmission. Not worth repair.

"Upon arrival, re-inspected the unit and did not find any oil underneath the machine. Removed agitator and accessed top of gearcase shaft. Found no sign of oil leak there either. Found buildup underneath the wash plate which leads me to believe it just needs an extensive cleaning and may not be oil. I was able to confirm flow meter leak. Customer also concerned that the left side lid hinge is rubbing on the lid. Found bent left side lid hinge, which wore off the enamel on the top console lid. After talking with the customer, the cosmetics of the enamel on the console lid is very important to them and the enamel is already starting to flake off. Customer ultimately decided not to proceed with the repair, due to the fact that they dont want the rust/enamel damage in the near future. Informed customer to try reaching out to the manufacturer regarding this. Will send parts back for return. Job complete.

Found IM not able to find home position. Replaced IM. All checks ok

Installed dispensor all ops ok.

Found lid lock continuously clicking when trying to start a wash cycle. Installed new lid lock. Performs calibration and auto test. Confirmed all op functioning properly now. Job complete.

Found faulty RC evaporator thermister. Replaced fan/sensor assembly and manually removed ice blockage. Job complete

"A new garbage disposal was installed about a month ago. A high loop was not installed on the dishwasher drain hose connection at the garbage disposal. As a result debris from the garbage disposal and water has been back flowing into the dishwasher. The dishwasher is a moldy disgusting mess that smells like sewage. This is a plastic tub. plastic is porous and will hold that bacteria and mold and smell and taste forever. The unit runs and drains as it should, but the unit needs to be replaced as you will never get that odor bacteria out of the tub. Recommend replacing dishwasher."

Found ventilation got blocked up with bounce sheets issue caused thermostat to trip. Reset thermostat and cleared ventilation. Confirmed unit running and heating properly now.

Installed new damper control. Confirmed damper door opens and closes.

"Found unit would not initiate a cycle due to faulty lid lock. Replace lid lock, calibrated and tested unit and all operations test OK at this time.

"No fault error code recorded in unit history. Unit ran through diagnostic testing without fault and/or water leaks. However, found heavy fabric softener residue at the fabric softener fill cup believed to be the primary origin of reported intermittent water leaks. Through normal operational function found the control failing to register the detergent level within the bulk dispenser. Confirmed detergent level read failure due to a faulty read switch of the dispenser drawer assembly. Additionally, found the units gearcase transmission losing oil saturating the lower unit area. No less than a new dispenser drawer assembly, gearcase and washplate would be needed to correct primary failures found. Additional component failures may exist. Customer has opted not to advance with further service at this time. Customer to advise.

"Got to this unit and found that the customer was showing me how the unit had a lock on the screen for the cooktop and every time you would press and hold it would be beep, but not change its position of being locked. Tried several times over still with the same outcome. Check to make sure that all switches were in the good off position. There are several switches that are having issues not staying locked in the off position. If you just try to give them a little turn without pushing down, they do turn on. if the customer had any situation for children or elderly in the home that would be a problem. This would definitely be a concern, but since those are not concerns. They are not concerns. Was able to turn the breaker off for several minutes while inspecting the burners. After visual inspection, complete turn the power back onto the unit, and the lock mechanism was turned off After testing found all parts of the unit are working correctly except the lock is not turning on or off now, but is giving the indication that it is detecting the touch but not keeping turned on or turned off. It is just staying off. Customer is good with the cooktop now being able to be used and no further issues or repairs needed at this time. Job complete."

"35yr old unit, all mechanical, no electrical diagnostics available *Classic. Unit ran through mechanical testing finding no operational failures, water leaks and/or abnormal noise issues. Exterior cabinet removed exposing the lower unit. Found no oil residue and/or significant component ware. Overall visually appears to be in good working order and condition for the units age. Customers description of operational failure sounds that of possible overload condition and/or overheating of the drive motor kicking out on thermal overload. Secondary failure found, unit agitator dogs worn preventing agitator function. Drive motor failure (if present) will likely worsen through continued use providing confirmation of component failure. Customer instructed to continue normal use of the unit and advise should failure persist. Should the unit resume normal operation without fault the customer will call within the 30 day service warranty for installation of a new agitator dog set to restore proper agitator function.

Removed and replaced dampers all ops test ok customer to advise.

"Found upper drawer would not drain due to locked rotor, most likely from sitting. Freed up Rotor and filled and drained upper drawer. "In the process of defrosting the evaporator, noticed that the coil was icing up as fast as I could defrost it. Using SmartHQ isolated components and verified compressor relay on main control board is stuck closed, causing the compressor to run nonstop. Gave customer estimate for main control and evaporator fan motor. Customer has decided to replace the unit."

Installed new ice bucket due to bad auger inside

Got back to this unit perform testing and found no error codes. Unit had a full bin of ice coming from the icemaker that I had just replaced on the previous visit. The control board that we showed up with here today was a part that was necessary only if this unit was not working on return.this unit is producing and has no error codes. It is not necessary to put this part in unit is working now according to normal operation. Job complete.

Got back to this unit and was able to install the control and user interface. After installation of these parts tested the unit. Unit was able to achieve temperature within very short period of time. Unit working correctly now. Job complete.

"Customer concerned that the unit is displaying F1E1 error code and will not start a cycle. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, checked terminal block and found power cord incorrectly installed. Power cord is installed reversed, causing a polarity issue within the main control. Unfortunately, this caused voltage issues within the main control which burnt out the main circuit board. Removed the power cord and re-installed with correct polarity. Installed new control board and tested. Unit working properly now. All ops good. Job complete."

"Unit ran through operational testing at 200?F, 300?F & 400?F. All unit operations to include proper cycling of the broiler element through to preheat check good in normal bake cycle operation. Units broil element no longer energized beyond reaching pre-heat temperatures. Operational issue reported potentially due to improper use where in food had been placed within the oven prior to reaching preheat temperature or intermittent failure not occurring through testing at time of service. Customer to continue normal use of the unit, monitor and advise should further service be required.

"As reported, found the units door handle had pulled free of the exterior stainless steel panel resulting in damage. New exterior door panel, door handle and supplied hardware installed and secured to correct. No fault error codes recorded in unit history. "Confirmed F2-E1 (Stuck / Shorted Key) recorded in unit history, cleared prior to advancement of service. Per the customer, failure had occurred multiple times on the first attempt of use following prior service. When attempting unit operation again later on the unit had resumed full operation without fault. Unit ran through complete diagnostic auto test, UI keypad functions test, control reset, etc. and power cycle conducted. Following initial start up procedure units clock time set and normal bake cycle operations initiated without fault. All unit operations check good upon completion of service. Found ice buildup at base of evaporator due to drain clogged with ice about 1 inch from the opening. Most likely drain was never fully cleared as it appeared to be open when I did the service kit. Unit does appear to be going through proper defrost cycles. Cleared drain and all checks OK. Customer will monitor and advise.

Replaced main control board. Calibrated and tested unit and verified all operations check OK at this time.

"Found water leak where inlet enters tank. Gave estimate for new inlet manifold, gasket and nut. Customer declined repair and has opted to replace the unit."

Installed push to start button and i could hear motor humming so i put my leads and did middle to left and while pushing the start button the volts dropped to 6 volts and when you test middle to right and push the start button the unit goes to 238 volts so i instructed customer he needed an electrician

"Found corrosion issue reported to be superficial isolated to the brass 3/8 elbow fitting into the units inlet water supply valve. However, found est. 1' inch of standing water within the units base pan triggering flood condition energizing the unit drain pump and preventing water flow into the tank. Additionally, found multiple degraded components, hoses, seals, etc. do to the unit age and prolonged water exposure. Installation of multiple replacement components would be needed to restore full unit operation and prevent related failures. Due to the unit age, extent of damage(s) and cost to repair vs replacement cost the customer has opted not to advance with further service at this time. Customer to advise.
