"Unit is somewhat sitting in the weather. Went to test unit and heard a pop. The board blew out, checked mode shifter and mode shifter is shot Not worth repair."

Installed new disposal and ran a few tests with ice down the sink and confirmed no leaks

Found there to be a significant difference in the way this door shuts. Customer could see without even operating the door That we had much better results today. "When I arrived, customer had mentioned that freezer temperatures were not correct and that the icemaker was not working. I checked icemaker error codes, and there werent any stored. I also checked freezer compartment, thermistor through diagnostic and found a fail. I mentioned to the customer that the unit needs new freezer evaporator fan harness assembly, which includes the thermometer. Also, bottom of door gasket is ripped that is why previous technician had ordered that. Previous technician applied a layer of white tape across the bottom of that gasket as a temporary solution and it helped to form a perfect seal. No condensation or frost inside freezer upon todays visit. Customer mentioned previously the unit would fill with frost. I advised her that the unit needs new freezer evaporator fan harness assembly in addition to the gasket and she declined repair stating she would rather purchase a new one. She asked if I could install the gasket today and I said yes but I advise against it because it will not resolve the temperature issues that she is currently experiencing as those are directly related to the failed thermistor . no work done today. Job complete. Test 01 = 03 short / failTest 56 Icemaker error codes there werent any"

"Customer stated that her dishwasher leaked on two separate occasions. I ran the unit today for about 20 minutes and there werent any leaks at all. I removed the lower kickplate, and there wasnt any evidence of water stains underneath at all. I explained to her that this occurred due to the positioning of items placed on the lower rack, causing water to deflect And ultimately splash out the bottom. All functions check OK. Job complete."

"Got back to this unit was trying to perform calibration when lid lock was not operating properly. Unplugged unit after this issue plugged back in after proper lapse time for reset. Went into do calibration again, this time went through without issue door lock also had no issue. Ran automatic test and unit passed without fail. Tested further by starting quick cycle and showed customer normal operating level of water. Unit working as designed now. Job complete."

Found unit running in a 27in vacuum. Compressor and fans all operational. Vacuumed unit down to 30in and when pump shuts off unit does not hold. Gassed up unit for customer but advised no guarantee on how long it will last. Customer does not want to pursue repairing the unit and will replace it.

Found fill tube frozen going into icemaker. Verified fill tube heater checks good. Cleared water line and insulated fill tube inside ice room. Icemaker cycled and filled and all checks OK.

Disconnected unit from house water supply. All checks OK at this time.

Tech checked unit and found a dirty igniter not allowing it to make contact with burner and create flame. Tech removed burner cap and cleaned igniter and burner caps . Tested unit all checks good

Tech replaced faulty ui panel with new . Tested unit all checks good

Inspected unit and determine one of the hot wire connection going the bake element was making contact therefore not sending 220vac to the bake element. Repaired problem by reconnecting the wire connection tightly and securely to the bake element. It is now getting power and turning on. Oven is now heating properly. Job complete.

I replaced the parts the customer bought and the units started to cool. Unit is working as designed at this moment customers will contact us if they continue to have problems.

"Got to this unit to find that, indeed the amount of lint built up in the trap, was keeping the screen from being able to drop fully into the trap. This turn was not allowing the door to shut because of making contact with the lint screen. Was able to remove most of the lint with a small grabber and a screwdriver.once lint was removed, screen was able to fall down into its channel properly and door shut as well. Tested unit found no further issues at this time. Job complete.

"Installed new, right front burner switch. Confirmed right front burner working properly now.

"When I arrived, I found the bolt that secures the agitator installed in the lower portion only and not through the top portion down into the lower portion where I installed it the last time that I was here. I took a picture of that and attached to the work order. I removed the bolt from the lower portion and reinstalled the top portion of the agitator in place and installed the bolt down through the top portion into the bottom portion and onto the shaft as it should be. I took a picture of that also and attached those pictures to the work order. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke with Drew. I suspect customer tampering with this so they can get a new washing machine. I documented my findings with him and also sent him those pictures. Job complete. Inspected unit and determined all components check out good. Customer had already cleaned out the exit prior to us coming. just wanted us to reassure him that the unit its working correctly and it is. Job complete.

Inspect the unit and determine the drum will not tumble. Reason was there was a snake caught around the blower. Opened the back of the blower housing. Customer Remove the snake which was dead. Cleaned out the blower housing and blower wheel with disinfected cleaner. Reinstalled unit and it is not working properly. Job complete.

Inspected unit and determined that the cost of the freezer door freezing up could be because of debris in the drainage tube going to the drain pan. Flushed out the drainage tube and cleaned out the drain pan. They should not be no more restriction when the unit goes into a defrost cycle.

"Cx complaint: wont drainReplaced pressure switch, ran a diagnostic cycle and the drain pump ran continuously. Inspected the drain pump, removed a few baby socks, tested again unsuccessfully. Changed the drain pump, tested again unsuccessfully. Removed the drain hose from the pump to the tub, found debris stuck inside the tub. Removed the debris. Tested operations successfully. Unit operates as designed.

Tech checked unit and found a bad heating element not allowing unit to heat. Tech replaced from truck stock . Tested unit all checks good.

"I removed and replaced the gear case, spin, basket, agitator, and cam. And then calibrated the unit and tested all functions, including a normal cycle and the unit now checks OK. Job complete.

Found condenser covered in the thick layer of lint not allowing unit to cool properly. I vacuumed off all of the lint from both the front and rear. Advise customer to wait 24 hours and if any issues arise to call us. I do not anticipate there to be any, since every other function was functioning perfectly. Customer paid labor plus service fee tax from the other day. Job complete.

Came to inspect unit and determine the problem all along was the door switch in the freezer was bad half of it worked half is to close the door so the lights can be on and off. And the other half of the switch is to send power to the icemaker. Door switch was halfway working. I had one in truck stock installed it at no charge since customer has paid for icemaker and labor prior. Were not charging them for the switch. We can close it out and customer is satisfied.
