"Customer concerned that the unit has a burning smell from inside the unit. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, inspected inside the unit and found that the filter screen came loose and got stuck under the heating element (check quick pics). Inspected heating element after cleaning it and found no damage to the heating element, just the filter screen. We would need to replace the filter screen only to fix the issue. Called safety team to inform them of issue and asked how to proceed. Safety team said they can order a new filter for the customer and ship it to them. Whirlpool will be sending them a newFilter Screen/WPW10463906, Order number: 1538440782. No need to schedule return visit, as customer can install themselves. Educated customer on how to install the new screen. Customer understood. Job complete."

"Upon arrival found an estimated eight ice cube slivers within the ice bin, units ice maker water fill tube, fill cup and ice cube mold empty, no water or ice. Per the customer, ice production failure had been prexisting long before reported cooling failure. Confirmed water supplied to the unit. Confirmed FC / RC operating temperatures and airflow check good. Unit ran through diagnostic load testing. Through ice maker load test found the display confirmed activation with no ice maker function. Primary failure appears to be due to a faulty ice maker assembly. Additional component failures may exist. Advised, units ice maker may or may not resume intermittent ice production following power cycle. Due to rising cost for continuing repairs the customer has opted not to advance with further repair service at this time as all other unit operations have been restored. Customer to advise."

"Complaint no cool. I found that the freezer evaporator had an ice ball in the corner and the refrigerator evap had no frost pattern. Compressor is running and all components. The unit has a leak in the sealed system. Only parts are covered till 2027. But labor expired in 2022. I told customers of my findings and they want to get a new unit.

Freezer door gasket has failed at bottom and is allowing excessive moisture inside causing isoform on the bottom portion of the liner. This is intern keeping the door from closing properly and keeping the door light on. Also water filter housing is clogged and needs to be replaced. Customer decided that since she is going to sell the house she will replace the unit. Job complete.
