Installed new auger ice chute and coupler and advised customer to monitor unit and call us back in next 30 days if frost continues we will need to order a door

I removed and replaced the outer door panel. I advise customer that rinse aid reservoir was just about empty. All functions check OK. Job complete.

"Got to this unit and found that the door gasket on the top edge of the freezer was laid with condensation. Checked and turned on the Molan strip in the refrigerator section to help alleviate moisture from running down. Also raised the freezer door up approximately a 16th of an inch to help with the ceiling of this door gasket. Also, was able to use the portion of gasket to put underneath the freezer door gasket to fluff the seal in a manner to allow for better ceiling on the top edge of this door gasket. With these items now performed unit should be back to normal as far as door seal goes. If further issues still in play customer to call back and let us know"

I replaced the basket and ran the unit on a diagnostics cycles and could not find any faults or errors. Also I could not hear any squealing or weird noises. Job complete

"When I arrive today, I found condensation on top of freezer gasket. Previous secondary gaskets that I installed last week. Were still held firmly in place. I disconnected the condenser fan motor while the compressor was running and let it running for about 7 to 9 minutes. Horizontal mullion did not get warm to the touch at all.I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke with Chris and documented these issues. "New auger motor installed. Upon restoring power for testing found no change in auger motor operation. Further inspection has found primary cause of ice dispensing failure due to a broken blue wire of the FC doors foamed in wire harness at the lower door hinge. Unable to restore connection due to limited wire available. New FC door needed to correct. Customer has opted not to advance with installation of a new FC door at this time due to cost however, will be contacting KitchenAid in attempt to obtain Special Concession covering both Parts & Labor. No parts to be ordered without prior authorization. Customer to advise."

Complaint no ice. I found that the ice maker was shut off. I jumped the ice maker and it ran as designed. The ice maker cycled and filled. I advised customers to let us know if they continue to get no ice.

found E2 error code on icemaker gave Mr. estimate for replacement of icemaker Mr. approved estimate so I replace the icemaker advised Mr. if it comes back, we may have to do the board and the icemaker as well. He said that he had a previous company out and they did the board an icemaker before hand when removing the icemaker I found that it did not have the correct part number and part was also 2 1/2 years old at time of install

As we left ice maker off sense my last return customer has not heard any noises so the items i have ordered ice maker and water valve should resolve the issue and i also leveled fridge as it was completely dropped forward... Advised customer to monitor unit

Installed new control and confirmed light operating properly. Also confirmed unit heating properly as well.

"Got the customers home to assess this unit. Open the door to the unit to get serial number and saw a roach on the inside of the dishwasher door. This was a very big concern considering the customer has no power to the unit. Quickly discovered that the customer has been dealing with roaches in the home. And discussed immediately what I may find when I open the door of this unit. Remove the screws and opened up the front door to find large amount of living cockroaches inside. With the extent of what I saw, it was not a recommendation to proceed with repair for this unit at this time.

"Go to the unit to find that there was water coming from some portion of the icemaker assembly. Due to the fact, the icemaker would not function, was unable to test this portion of it. But can see residue coming from the right hand side of the inner portion of the refrigerator cabinet, where water is perceived to be coming down from either the valve itself or the line going to the icemaker. Believe this to be a result of the Water inlet, getting frozen at the icemaker. To where the waterline now has a lot of pressure when it sends water to the icemaker, in which case it is backfeeding into the refrigerator. Due to this, there is a large amount of water in the bottom cavity underneath the deli drawer in the refrigerator, as well as overflowing into the freezer section which caused the icicles in the freezer section to not allow the door to shut properly. Freezer section did not appear to have any puddle underneath the drawer indicating drain was clogged. All of the water scene is definitely coming from the refrigerator section. Customer asked if I had a new water filter since his had not been changed in a while. Turned off icemaker at this time so that that is not a possibility for now. Customer may decide to fix icemaker in the future but as of right now Turned off to distinguish the issue.

"Installed all new seal system parts. Vacuumed system for 30min. Recharged system with correct amount of refrigerant 68 grams of R600a. Unit is now cooling properly. Job complete.

Inspected unit and determine the freezer. Icemaker is leaking water therefore will need to be replaced. Gave customer an estimate and he approved it. Installed new icemaker . Tested operation of the icemaker and it requested for water and no longer leaking . Job complete.

Cx complaint: dryer keeps shutting off. Found the unit keeps shutting down due to a clogged dryer vent. Advised cx to call a company to have it cleaned then call us back.

Water valve was making a loud noise for customer during fill. Could not replicate it today but tested all other components and everything checked good. Replaced valve assy as a precaution. Calibrated and tested unit and all checks OK at this time.

"Customer concerned that the ice maker does not work. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, verified proper temperature in the freezer. Put unit into diagnostics and checked ice box fan and its working. Checked ice maker error codes and got E0 for no codes saved. Performed ice maker harvest and monitored. Ice maker cycled but did not drop ice. Display showing 02 for motor off and harvesting not completed. Checked error codes again and still got E0. Performed manual ice maker fill test and water filled properly. Ran ice maker forced harvest a couple more times and its passing. Verified ejection arms are moving. Suspect that the ice maker just needed a reboot. Informed customer to monitor over the next couple days and let us know if it doesnt make ice. Customer also has condensation issue on freezer door. Found item fell behind drawer and not closing properly. Also noticed door seal needs cleaning. Removed item and cleaned door seal and checked seal again. Unit is sealing properly.

Complaint no cool. I found that the evaporator was frosted over. The thermistor read open when it was frosted over. I replaced the thermistor and told customer to let us know if she continues to have problems. If we return need to call tech line. Possibly wire break in cabinet. Job complete.

I replaced the the belt and tested the unit in diagnostics and normal operations. All components and ops tested good without faults or errors. Also no more squealing. Job complete.

Installed 1 or of 2 boards tested checked ok if cust calls back other board will be needed

Found no airflow into FF section. Door was left open and froze up air return. Defrosted air return and all checks OK at this time.

"Customer concerned that the unit is not washing properly and is leaking. Confirmed issues. Upon arrival, tested unit in auto test and monitored. Unit did not agitate properly and is stuck in spin mode. Accessed actuator underneath the unit and found actuator disconnected from the cam assembly and is the outdated actuator. Unit need new updated actuator. Quoted customer for a new Actuator. Customer agreed to charges. Installed new shifter and performed calibration on unit. Ran unit through a test cycle and unit passed. Upon testing unit found water overflowing from the stand pipe. Informed customer and instructed them to contact a plumber. Customer understood. Job complete.

Removed disposal drain plug. Checked operation ok job complete

Complaint no cool. I found that the compressor was not on and that the evaporators had no frosting. I turned the unit off and on and the compressor immediately came back on and the unit started cooling I advised the customer to give us a call back in 24 hours if the unit has not reached proper temp.

Removed and replaced heater assy all ops test ok owner approved.

"I replaced the broken hose with new part and unit works as designed with no more leaks, faults, and errors.

Found the error comunication code but that was thrown from the bolt being loose last week but went to install slider and clutch just in case and center bolt is firmly locked in place and trying to remove it was going to strip or break my bit so i installed new board and cleared code and calbrated unit than put it through test modes and confirmed unit working as it should

Installed new dispenser assembly and ran short test. Confirm dispenser opening properly now. Job complete.

"Customer concerned that the unit is still stuck in a sensing mode even after running through a calibration with tech support. Checked error codes again and found a new code now, which is F2E3 for ACU and UI mismatch. Called tech support again and ran unit on multiple cycles and everything is passing. Tech support stating that the F2E3 error code is fine, it was probably just because we changed the main control and its nothing to worry about. Tech support and I cant replicate any issues and they said to put clothes or towels inside the unit and run it on quick wash to monitor. Informed customer of this and ran down the street to a different call and came back to the customers home after about 30-45 minutes. Went back to home and found that the wash cycle completed. Started again on casual cycle because thats the cycle the customer uses and noticed clicking noise coming from the actuator, which I havent heard before throughout any of my tests. Installed new actuator and tested unit again, found no further issues. If customer calls in again I am not sure what else to do, tech line and I cant find any further issues with this unit.

"Installed new freezer, fan motor and freezer blower motor and main control board at rear of unit. Found the new fan motor had a thermister wired into the harness, whereas the original, did not. I cut the thermister harness and placed a wire nut to form a jumper like the original. Advise customer to let unit run over the weekend and if issue continues to call us back."

Tech checked unit and found unit with bad wash motor . Tech advised cust of price of wash motor and cust stated they will buy new.

"Found the units suspension system heavily worn resulting in out of balance load conditions and high speed spin failures as reported by the customer. Additionally, found several coins lodged between the spin basket and agitator resulting in binding and warping of the agitator, damage to the hub gears and agitator likely. Unable to free the agitator and/or remove all coins without damage. No less than a new suspension kit and agitator would be needed to correct primary failures found. Additional damages may exist as a result of binding caused by the forementioned coins. Due to cost of repair verse replacement cost the customer has opted not to advance with further repair service at this time. Customer to advise.

Tech checked unit and found unit not draining . Unit is over 10 years old and cust will replace .

Rerouted wires at bottoms and fastened toe kick all opsmok.

Found spin basket is separating at tripod. Did not install rods. Not worth repair.

Found door stop on door was broke and would not let the door close. The door stop is on the exterior of the door seal and customer does not use it. I removed door stop all ops ok.

Found FF lights out. Removed lights and found one defective LED. Installed a known-good spare light for the customer. Freezer light with broken wire has been bypassed so now all remaining lights are working. All checks OK at this time.

Found unit frosted over Mr. said he accidentally left the door open. Advised Mr. if it happens again to replace the harness.

"Complaint weird noise. I found in diagnostics that the valves and the drain pump worked great. But when the unit tries to spin or agitate it makes a loud noise. I looked under the unit to find that there is oil all over the cam, the belt, and the holder. Unit will need a new gearcase. Customers opted to get a new unit.

Replaced drive board and lid lock assembly. Ran through a cycle and all operations test OK at this time.

"Installed new filter housing and valve due to leak,tested good afterwards.

"Customer concerned that the unit is not cooling. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, verified almost room temperature in both sections. Checked previous repair work and defrost drain is good. Verified evaporator fan and condenser fan are running. Compressor is running as well. Installed piercing valve onto compressor and compressor is pulling 1700 microns and is in a deep vacuum. Checked to see if unit has a charge and there is no refrigerant in the system. This is indicating a sealed system leak and recommended to customer that we do a full sealed system rebuild. Quoted customer for a new Evaporator, Condenser, Compressor. Customer declining repair at this time but will call us back if they decide to proceed. IF CUSTOMER CALLS TO PROCEED WITH REPAIR, PLEASE SCHEDULE FOR 2 TECHNICIANS AND 6 HOURS.

"Refrigerator has hammering sound when dispensing water thru door,I removed filter and plugged it back in then tested good afterwards,recommend to use correct filter,the tear drop brand,authentic seal kitchen aid uses.

Unit is cooling. Customer does not want board replaced at this time
