Came to diagnose unit and found nothing wrong with it. Customer still not happy stating it walks everywhere and they get off balances a lot. But when I Che kid for error codes theres none saved in memory. I called techline and they documented it but we advised customer the need to use less detergent and not too overload cycles. She understood.

Got this unit to hear a click within several minutes of being here from the back of the unit and also heard from the customer that this unit was not able to keep proper temperature. Customer had several temperature gauges in this unit both which read between 50 and 55? in both sections of this refrigerator. Due to this and what I was hearing immediately went to the rear of the unit and could feel that the start run device was the culprit for popping. Was able to pull another start run device from truck stock and install. Installation of this found that the unit never shut off again and continued cooling as normal.. Found the unit to be reaching approximately 35? air temperature before leaving. This was a definite drop in temperature just in the amount of time of being here for this unit. Unit should be back in cooling order. No further issues found at this time.

Got this unit and was able to replace faulty fan with new. After replacement tested the unit and found the fan to be working correctly. Unit back together and should be recovering temperatures within the next 24 to 48 hours. Job complete.

Entered diagnostic mode and found two stored fault codes. Overload detected and locked rotor. Performed automatic test and confirmed all ops functioning properly. Inspected lower unit and did not find any issues. Per Mr., wife has been doing several loads of laundry since last called in and had no issues. Advised to call us back if issue returns.

"Kelly from safety team is who I talked to today. Called in after speaking with the customer about the problems. This customer was finding. Have pictures recorded of several pieces of large plastic that got knocked into the ice bin from the icemaker failure. Believe this was either due to a faulty door, allowing for ice to build up around the water delivery to the icemaker or due to a faulty water inlet valve that was progressively giving water when not needed or requested. One of these two options or both could be the reasoning why this ice was able to make it into the path of the mold for harvest. Called into safety to report my findings and was told before even giving diagnosis that this unit was not to be worked on any further. Kelly as mentioned from above from safety team was going to be contacting the customer shortly after I got off the phone with her to discuss moving forward options for this customer. Working off of the same SR number as indicated in the bill. Waiting to hear one way or the other what is going tobe the end result here.

Pulled the unit out and Found leaking water line going to the fill tube. It got brittle and weak so broke off. Also it had to do with the fill tube water line frozen. Replace the line going to the fill tube and also defrosted the fill tube. The icemaker is now receiving water and no more water leaks. Tested properly. Job complete.

SR7740871173 found FE4 engagement failure but through testings it cleared it self.. Also speaking with one tech he said unit is working as designed but i called another tech as the unit filled for 5 seconds on deep fill and started agitating automactically so with other tech we found with the extra power button on unit would act like i described... So while here i tested unit in a deep fil with customers clothes and i confirmed proper fill

Found bottom drawer was not hooked into place correctly and top drawer was not glidding properly causing door not to close well....

Replaced air valve in unit job complete

Got back to this unit installed the new parts that were ordered. Insured that the temperatures were set correctly on the new user interface and damper door was indeed able to open. Well have to wait 24 to 48 hours to see actual results on whether or not this will change the issues at hand. Job complete.

"Upon arrival, customer informed me that they had a plumber out to re do the entire supply line. After the replacement of the supply line, water is not leaking from the filter housing anymore. Must have been an issue with the supply line/water pressure, causing water to leak from the filter housing. Repair is not needed at this time.

Replaced control housing and overlay and confirmed unit working properly

Customer states unit is running frequently. FC temps are at 0F and RC at 38F. Evaporator and condenser fans are operational and condenser is clean. Checked operating temps which look good around 8-10psig. Advised customer since unit has been converted from factory R12 to R414A this can cause unit to run more often and due to the overall age of the system being almost 40 years old its not unusual for frequent cycling. All checks OK at this time.

Installed new upper oven temp sensor. Heated unit and no faults found. All checks OK at this time.

Replaced all parts ordered. Ran through a calibration and auto test and all operations check OK at this time.

Install new icemaker. Confirmed icemaker properly cycled and filled with water. Advised Mr. to allow 24 hours before before ice bin starts to fill up.

"Got to this unit and was able to install new lid lock. After installation of lid lock started testing this unit. Immediately received a 51 error code which typically pertains to lid lock issues. Immediately tried to clear code and do an automatic test. Unit was having a very difficult time trying to move forward with any portion of this test stopped the test and opened up. The unit found that the agitator was loose very much so. Tighten this up and then move forward with testing. Unit still was having some odd issues with what sounded like an inability to shift. Tip the unit back and found that the gear case/transmission was leaking oil down into the motor area. This oil getting into the shifter and clutch assembly typically is not a good sign. In order to fix this unit, we would be looking at possibly multiple electronic parts gear case and possibly motor parts in order to fix this unit. Only some of which would still be covered under manufacturers warranty. The cost of which is going to exceed the price of this unit to fix. Customer decided that they were going to go a different direction. No further repairs to be done to this unit according to the customer.

"Units suspension system heavily worn resulting in out of balance load conditions and high speed spin failures reported. No other visible component damages found throughout full inspection. New suspension kit supplied by pre-ID installed to correct. Unit ran through calibration cycle, auto test and component load testing in diagnostics without fault and/or water leaks. All unit test, operations and sounds check good upon completion of service. Customer to continue normal use of the unit, monitor and advise should further service be required."

Inspected unit and determine the heater element is shorted out therefore is not heating at all. Gave customer an estimate but he decline repair. He said he will fix it himself.

Diagnosed unit and determine the gas was not coming out from the middle burner orifice therefore would not allow the burner to work. Repaired problem by readjusting and cleaning the debri inside the orifice. Gas is now coming out properly and middle burner is now flaming up accordingly. Job complete.

Installed new damper. Unit running properly at this time.

"On arrival, the customer had addressed new operational failures and/or issues i.e. left side deli drawer unable to open beyond 6 inches, water related issues, etc. On further inspection found food product had fallen behind the drawer impeding drawer function. Issue has resulted in defrost water overflowing the defrost drip pan accumulating at the RC interior floor panel and freezing which has resulted in damage to the deli UI harness. Additional replacement components and labor time needed to correct additional failures. Due to the unit age and rising cost to repair the customer has opted not to advance with repair service at this time. Customer to advise.

"Cx complaint: noisy spin cycle, unit walking around during the spin cycle on heavy loads.Tested and found worn out suspension. Entered diagnostics, found no error codes. Ran an auto test and found the cam screeching when switching from agitate to spin. Component still functions as designed. Quoted cx for new suspension and opted to live with the noisy cam, as the suspension was the main cause for concern. Replaced the suspension. Tested all functions, unit operates as designed.

"Upon arrival, found unit relocated to unit 4261. The maintenance man Fernando let me in. Tore apart the unit and confirmed damage to the blower wheel. Replaced the blower wheel the previous tech had ordered. Put the unit back together. Tested operations successfully. Unit operates as designed."
