Play vacuum pump on system for 40 minutes and recharged with 48 g R600. Advise Mr. to monitor unit."

Found unit with no compressor running... unplugged and attempted to get it to come on... Ended up having to install a starter relay which was able to get unit to work again and advised customer unit may take up to 24hr to get to regular temp and i would give it a day or two before stocking freezer with a bunch of food

Installed new control panel and confirmed all keys working properly. Perform short test and confirmed dryer running and heating properly. Job complete.

Installed new door micro switches which were faulty and also replaced both fuses that wet blown. Tested unit and it is now heating and working properly. Job complete.

"Got to this unit to find that the icemaker was not producing. Further investigation, getting into the parts and trial found the mold to be separating almost immediately when looking into the unit. Also, when going to test the unit found that there was ice in and around the cover behind the motor. This is typically an indication that the mold has failed and is getting water into the motor section and also includes to make this unit fail. Because of this issue, it was my suggestion and recommendation to replace this icemaker. Gave customer estimate and was approved to do so. Replaced icemaker and ran through testing. Icemaker appears to be doing its job getting the water in the correct location and ready to harvest when its frozen. Job complete.

Replaced thermistor and control. Monitored temps to ensure cooling. 6 and 40 before I left. All checks ok

I started today by checking incoming water pressure to the refrigerator and it was at 39 PSI pic of Pressure gauge reading attached. I removed and replaced all of the ordered parts. I then dispense water many times and let it sit for about 30 minutes and not a single drop of water came out. Problem resolved job complete.

I removed and replaced the console. Ran a factory calibration and tested all functions including a normal cycle and the unit now checks okJob complete

Replaced the ignitors had to cut the right two venturis off to replace the ignitors on the right side. Cut them off and replaced associated parts. Replaced the rubber feet on the grates tightened a leaking gas line in the connection to the wall. Job complete

Found bad damper motor not allowing air flow into ff side. Unit is also starting to develop the heat exchanger issue on the back wall. Customer will not invest any more into unit.

"Recall - refrigerator freezer light switch is stuck closed from moisture freezing,I unstuck and tested good afterwards"

Diagnosed unit and determine the water valve solenoid keeps staying open therefore allowing water into tub constantly. Need new valve. Gave customer an estimate and they approved it. Installed new water valve housing. Tested operation of unit and it is now receiving water properly and no more water leaks. Tested properly. Job complete.

"New damper control installed. Power restored confirming full function of the new damper control. All unit tests, operations and sounds check good upon completion of service. Customer to advise.

"Go to this unit and found that the icemaker had no water in it nor ice. Testing found no error codes with the icemaker or the unit. Further testing found the icemaker to be working but not receiving water. Was able to turn the inlet heater on for several minutes. After this That when sending water to the maker, it actually was received. This has been an indication that the unit needs a power reset and during the power glitch, the unit had turned off the inlet heater. Because this heater was able to be turned on and water was able to be dispensed believe this just to be a software issue. Explain this the best as possible for an odd situation. Customer understood. It is a strong belief of mine that this unit will recover within 24 to 48 hours as long as these parts are working. Job complete.

"Replaced spin basket, washplate, suspension and tub ring. Also used hub from truck stock since new basket did not come with retainer like it should. Calibrated and tested unit, put into high speed spin and verified unit stays in balance properly. All checks OK at this time.

On arrival found RC around 35 and FC around 8F. Ice cream and bread were both soft. Unit was producing ice but not storing it well. Opened evaporator compartment and found that unit is not fully defrosting. Defrost thermistor was not connected properly and had an arc mark from poor connection (see photo). Replaced thermistor from truck stock. Also found unit still overcharged and suction line frosting up back to compressor. Low side pressures running around 5 psi. Evacuated system completely and vacuumed to 29inHg. Measured in 68 grams of R600A which is a factory charge. Set unit to recommended temp settings for both compartments and verified good frost pattern on evap. Unit is on and cooling and all operations test OK at this time. Customer will monitor and advise.

New water inlet valve assembly from truck stock installed completing repair. Unit ran through calibration cycle, auto test and manual load testing in diagnostics now without fault and/or water leaks. All unit operations check good upon completion of service. Customer to advise.

"Customer concerned that the unit is building up condensation on the outside right side of the freezer door, and on the top inside of the refrigerator section. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, temperatures in the freezer and refrigerator are good. Checked door seals and they are sealing good. Door alignment is perfect as well. Called tech line and we ran through their trouble shooter. Unit is lightly loaded and there is an AC vent in the direct line of the refrigerator. Tech line suggesting to load up the unit more, and to redirect the ac vent. Informed customer to load the unit up with more food. Redirected the AC vent for the customer as well and dried up the condensation. Informed customer to monitor over the weekend and if the condensation comes back, to call us. Customer understood. "Go back to this unit and was able to remedy the problem that was seen on my last visit to this unit. Found that one of the wires had come loose from the thermostat. Tested the unit to find it now heating and sounding and working correctly. No further issues seen with the unit itself. However, when Dan and I went to pull this unit down, found that the mounting bracket fell off the wall supporting the lower side of this. Also discovered that is supposed to mount to the vent system on the top side of the microwave was nonexistent. Took pictures they are in thephoto gallery on this bill. Customer immediately called and talked to the builder and they are going to have the installation crew come back out and take care of these issues. As far as we know unit is working and these problems should be fixed moving forward. Job complete.

Found compressor not staying on. Replaced starter. All checks ok. Advised customer to wait 24-48 hrs before restocking completely with food.

"Got back to this unit and was able to install new console. This console came with the user interface that we were also needing. Because of this did not need the user interface that was ordered along with us. Also, when unit started to work correctly with only the console installed, it is not necessary to use the computer that was a back up part. job complete"

Freezer floor and defrost drainage is frozen from it being clogged. Flushed out the Ptrap and defrosted all the ice. Unit is now draining properly. Job complete.

Came to the house and determine since the day I left unit has been cooling properly. Checked temperatures while there and freezer is reading +1 degrees and refrigerator +36 seal system is working as should. Did install the new updated defrost heating element Wire hardness. It looks like I fixed the problem when I reset the Main control when I came on the prior visit. Customer is happy and unit is working as should. Job complete.

Found evaporator about 80 percent encased in solid ice. Tested and found defrost heater has a hole in it and is only heating a small portion of the evap which is causing incomplete defrost and blocking airflow through the compartments. Defrost heater is no longer available from the manufacturer making unit non-repairable. Customer to replace.

Removed and replaced FF evaporator fan motor and harness with new FF thermistor and defrost thermistor. Relocated and wrapped thermistor on evap per service pointer. Also changed defrost to standard 8 hour run time. All operations test OK at this time.

"Found freezer evaporator fan motor not spinning fast enough to cool properly and dispenser motor hanging open halfway open. Shut unit off and could not get unit to power back up. Verified faulty main control board. Had office bring new control kit, uninstalled refrigerator and replaced control kit. Compressor, fans and dispenser are now working properly. All operations test OK at this time."

Found motor not hitting target RPM due to drive belt saturated and shredding. Cleaned pulleys and replaced drive belt. Motor is now getting up to speed and all checks OK.

"Got to this unit to find no heat coming from the heating element. Tested power and found that the unit was receiving 240 V and had proper ground and neutral as well. Further testing after taking the unit apart found heating element was only receiving 120 V Unit was not getting power from the control. As this was being discussed with the customer, also looked up the main control board for this unit and found it to be discontinued. Made customer aware of this information. Customer is going to get a different unit. job complete"

Go back to this unit and found that the icemaker was indeed not making ice. Pulled the unit out and unplugged. After doing so was able to put new control board in. After this was able to test and find that the icemaker is rolling over on its own and working correctly. No further issues seen at this time believe this unit to be making ice in the future and no longer having problems. Job complete.

Go to this unit and installed new wash pump motor after removing the previous one. After installation tested. Unit is now washing and no further issues found at this time. All parts and pieces are working correctly. Job complete.

Found unit not washing and leaking from was motor. Also found f4e3 error for bad wash motor.

"Found relay not starting compressor, replaced with one from truck stock

"Following prior service the customer had removed the unit from power for 24hrs as advised however, the RC doors had not been left open preventing full defrost of the RC evaporator. Since returning the unit to power frost has continued to develop and again encapsulate the FC evaporator and evaporator cover. Both diagnostic and extensive multimeter testing conducted prior to part installation. No component failures found and/or reported through diagnostics. At the HV control confirmed proper DCV between 0.5 & 1.6 supplied to the RC Evap / RC / FC thermistors. All thermistors reading accurate to actual temp: 25.6 kohm RC Defrost thermistor -5?F (encapsulated in ice), 6.89 kohm +40?F RC thermistor (lowest DCV @ 1 VDC supplied), 14.6 kohm FC thermistor +8?F. All frost and ice accumulation cleared from the RC evaporator assembly finding no deflection of the evaporator drip tray, drip tray service kit ordered not needed. Found the RC evaporator defrost thermistor hanging loosely on the evaporator preventing optimal thermal transfer which will allow for shortened and incomplete defrost cycles. As per the latest Whirlpool Service Pointer, modifications conducted utilizing misc truck stock i.e. RC evaporator defrost thermistor secured, RC evaporator secured, evaporator cover secured, etc. Unit ran through diagnostic test No. 4 confirming proper function and operation of the switching valve solenoid. Original cause of RC frost development may or may not have been due to poor contact between the RC evaporator and RC evaporator defrost thermistor and/or communications failure since corrected through power cycle. Travis with Whirlpool T/L advised on unit history, results through testing and current status. T/L has agreed, should failure reoccur, installation of a new UI control would be advised to correct and best help prevent reoccurring failure. Customer will monitor unit operations, temperature, ice production, etc. and advise should further service be required. Quote listed is for estimate only.
