"Got to this unit to find the icemaker functioning. The icemaker had no ice or water in it on arrival. Determine that the pressure from the filter was less than normal. After removing filter, found proper pressure coming back to the unit. Believe this led to the icemaker getting very little amounts of water in which case it froze at the fill tube. This caused the water to not be able to make it into the icemaker. Spoke with the customer about testing for water pressure to ensure function and how that could affect ice production. Was able to clear out the chunk of ice blockage. After ran icemaker test and found all portions to be working correctly. No further issues seen at this time.

"Customer concerned that the unit will not wash. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, checked error codes and found code for fault shifter. Manually actuated the shifter and found that it is receiving power and humming, but does not turn at all. Unit has defective shifter. Due to this failure, also found wear on the pulley. Also found belt is stretched too much and slipping on the pulley. Quoted customer for a new shifter, cam kit, and belt. Customer approved repair cost. Installed all new parts and calibrated unit, all ops good. Job complete.

"Customer concerned that the led lights stopped working. Upon arrival, all led lights are working properly, as well as all door switches. Tested LEDs multiple times. Unit also has the updated led modules. Could not duplicate any LED issues at this time, but I suspect that moisture is getting underneath the deli door UI and causing a temperature short in the circuitry. Advised customer to monitor for now and make sure to wipe dry the interface in the future to prevent any moisture damage under the interface. Customer understood.

"Found the unit at ambient temperature with HI (High Temperature) displayed. No compressor, evaporator / condenser fan motor operation. Power to the unit cycled. Upon restoring power the units evaporator fan motor cycled 30sec on / 30sec off for 2min before initiating compressor run. Unit continued running in cooling operations an excess of 10min with no drop in temperature. Cooling failure due to a refrigerant leak of the sealed system. Due to expected cost for repair the customer has opted to first look into replacement options before advancing with further service. Customer to advise.

"Found the unit disconnected from power and at ambient temperature at time of arrival. Power restored for testing finding the units start device relay tripping out on overload. Compressor windings check good, not open or shorted to ground. New start device from truck stock installed without change, compressor locked. Unable to fully test due to primary component failure. New start device uninstalled and replaced with original. No less than a new compressor will be needed to correct, additional component failures relating to the sealed system may exist. Due to the units age, condition and expected cost to complete repair POC has opted not to advance with further service."

Found condensation forming on top of freezer door gasket. I checked temperatures of freezer and it was set to -1?F. I increased freezer temperature to 5?F. I then used my hairdryer and paper towel completely dry underneath top of freezer door gasket soften gasket. And then applied 2 Whirlpool gasket strips underneath gasket portion to tighten seal. I advise customer to leave freezer door closed for several hours For everything to cool down and take shape. I explained to customer that this issue will occur depending on relative humidity inside the home. Horizontal was warm while compressor was running. Job complete.

"New gearcase installed and lower unit rebuild conducted. Degreaser used to remove all oil residue from the floor beneath the unit. New adjusters installed and unit leveled. New control installed completing repair. Unit ran through calibration cycle, auto test and manual load testing in diagnostics as well as initial Rinse, Drain & Spin cycle through to entry into high speed spin. All unit tests and operations check good without fault and/or water leaks. Customer to advise. Original faulty control marked and retained for core return.

"Customer had a stop added behind the unit to prevent it from going too far back and hitting cabinetry. However, found both doors/liner had warped from the unit being unplugged which is now causing doors to not close properly. Taped both doors shut and turned power back on, advised will need to leave unit running and allow plenty of time for it to cool back down and hopefully the doors will reshape when it gets cold again. Mr. Jarvis will advise."

"Found no voltage supplied to the units evaporator fan motor. Fan motor and blade can be spun freely, no obstruction. Confirmed all door switches operating without fault. Power to the unit cycled. Upon restoring power the units evaporator fan motor was energized, resumed normal operation restoring proper airflow to the RC. Unit ran through diagnostic testing finding and/or reporting no component failures. Ice buildup between the heat exchanger and evaporator as a result of no airflow cleared. All unit tests and operations check good upon completion of service. Should failure reoccur, a new control will be needed to correct. Customer to advise.

"Go to this unit and was able to run tests on the icemaker. Found icemaker motor to be able to move. Unit ran through harvest cycle without issue. Tested water pressure. Unit has proper water pressure for delivery. However, found that the icemaker had no ice or water in it at initial check. That the icemaker was not receiving water. Further checking found the fill tube was frozen. Was able to remove very small portion of ice and water to icemaker. This unit was able to deliver on request. Inform the customer that we would have to wait 24 to 48 hours to see what this unit was going to do moving forward on its own.customer calls back. We want to return with icemaker and to address this issue.

Apon arrival we got to hear what the customers were hearing and it was the bottom of the fridge vibrating so i pushed on top of the fridge and tilted the fridge a little bit and the noise stopped which told me the unit needed to be leveled which it was not... Rasied left and right side up an inch or so and customers are happy doors are not swinging up like they were before and the noise stopped... Advised customer they have 30 days to contact office if the noise returns
